The hosts
Alba and Sander have looked after Finca Cantueso since early 2023 — caring for the cottages, gardens and restaurant day to day, and quietly improving them, while protecting everything that has drawn people here since 2007.
Their idea of hospitality is a simple one: notice what guests need before they have to ask, then give them the freedom to make the finca their own. That might be a restaurant table booked for golden hour, a hiking route matched to your pace, or simply the pool left to you for the afternoon. Every stay is read a little differently — and they are never far when you need them.
Their approach
The finca welcomes one group at a time when booked exclusively — which means Alba and Sander's attention is never split across a hundred rooms or a thousand check-ins.
They remember details: the coffee preference you mentioned on the phone, the anniversary dinner you want to surprise your partner with, the room your children sleep deepest in. The goal is a stay that feels effortless because every small thing has already been thought about.
They are available every day and respond promptly. If something isn't quite right, say so — they would rather fix it immediately than have you leave with something unresolved.
